Day 4 (Tuesday)
Woke up late. Around 10am went to Mangga 2 ITC. A bit like Tanah Abang with lower quality stuff. But cheaper ofcourse. Was sent there by a Bluebird taxi so arrange for him to pick us up at the hotel ard 1pm for airport transfer. He said it should be ard 80k with meter which was cheaper than what the taxi driver last nite quoted - 120k. So we booked two as our luggage was overspilling. From Mangga 2 ITC we went to Mangga 2 WTC. Just to kill time. Met a lovely Indian couple who owns a shop there and also a factory. Chit chat for while, had lunch at A&W and heads back to hotel.

Left hotel around 2pm. Managed to reach airport 3pm. Did some last minute shopping, souvenirs and cigarettes and had drinks at the airport cafe. The Es Kelapa is very nice and highly recommended. Check in and head to boarding gate. On the way spot a cafe where you can smoke. Yipee...Flight was retimed again from 4.30pm to 6.25pm. Reached M'sia 9.25pm. Flight back was pleasant.
Note to self:
a) Next time to call Bluebird group and arrange the car for hire through the company
b) To call Bluebird for any taxi needed, although it's a minimum 25k per ride, it's worth it, the drivers are polite, well versed in the area and just plain nice. Besides the other taxi that dont use metres just whack the price and expect u to negotiate, usually agreeing to half what he earlier quote.
c) To stay longer in Bandung. Very very nice place indeed....

e) To not believe everything you read on the net, Tripadvisor has been extremely helpful in planning this trip, but do take what most forumers write with a pinch of salt. Like my experience is based on what i like and dislike, it may differ for you.
Overall it was a wonderful and fun trip. Just keep an open mind each time you go to a city that you have never been to before, it makes the experience sweeter. The fact that we went in groups made me feel safer but throughout the trip we never encountered unpleasant experience even while walking in the back alleys of some seedy joints. When asked for directions the locals are always helpful.
