Pusing2 Bikin Pening Part 3

Day 3 (Monday)

Pick up was at 7am. But left hotel around 8am. One member overslept..stop at rest area along the highway to have breakfast. Had bakso, was not that bad. There's a factory outlet here too for a preview shopping :D

Reach Bandung around 11am and head straight to Rumah Mode at Jalan Setiabudi. Soooooo beautiful...the garden, the decor, very nice..I Like. I like the inside better. Went crazy for 3 hours esp. in the kids section (Ralph Lauren, Guesskids etc). I like the variety and the set up of this FO best. Many branded items (Armani, CK, Ed Hardy, Esprit, Guess) and well displayed. Definitely the best FO.

Based on other Tripadvisers forumers experience, head to Cargo at Jln Dipanegoro next. Not too bad, limited choice for men, but ok was women and kids. Bought roxy t-shirts for rm10/- (it was 40% discount on FO price) Next was Oasis at Jln Riau, didnt liked it much. Maybe for men it's a better choice. Next was Heritage. Since it was already 4pm, had late lunch at Heritage Cafe. Batogor was nice, or maybe we were hungry. The nasi goreng also not bad. Heritage didnt appeal much to me for women's wear. But 3 guy friends went crazy here. Bought a few tshirts for friends as well at rm10-20 a pop. (Guess and Timberland originals that is).

Next head to ForMen Gallery across the street. If i was a guy, i'd go crazy here. Not as cheap as most FO but most of the hugo's, armani's, gap's, zara's, dkny's, esprit's workshirts goes for flat rate of 150k rupiah. Bought a few shirts for brothers as well here. Head to MP opposite Heritage next. Better t-shirt selection for girls and cheap. Bought a few Ed Hardy and Crash and Burn tshirt. They have roxy, moschino, ck, armani too.

It's 8pm and i cant do this anymore. First time in my life i give up shopping. My feet aches and my back hurts. My sister is very suprised at my request to go back home. We left Bandung and on the way stop by one of the roadside stallf to try Amanda Brownies (personally..it's just ok). Then we stop to eat at Selera Padang (i think, i forgot) to try Nasi Padang, read that they put plates and plates of food to choose from so was a must try for us. It was very nice indeed esp. the dendeng (spell right?) and ayam masak lemak...sambal telur puyuh with petai, paid about 220k for 6 of us plus juices. Head back to Jakarta around 9pm.

The thing is apparently the silverbird contact person actually renting a car from his friend and had plan to drive himself for the quoted 700k. But because of last minute personal reasons, he had to find a replacement driver. Now this driver though he was to drop us off in Bandung only, not take us around so was asking for extra. We firmly told him 700k was agreed all inclusive by his friend but promised him some tips. I think he was a bit annoyed by the whole arrangement and drove home like a mad man despite the heavy rain :D my friend who sat in the front seat was going whoaaaaaaaaaa, OMG at every corner and passing cars.

Reach hotel in Jakarta around 11.30pm, drop all shopping bags and went out for last nite partying. Read about Blok M but was dropped off by the taxi driver at some seedy pubs aisle. Walked along back alley to some light bearings spots in front of Blok M Plaza. Found out that most of the place were karaoke joints. Asked around for clubbing scene and was suggested either Millenium, Crown or Kota. Decided on Crown at Glodok Plaza. Hahahahaha we didnt even get to go inside because one of the guys was wearing slipper. There are shoes for rent but he wasnt gonna slip on someone else's shoes. Besides, Crown was not what we expected so just had a good laugh about the whole trip there. In the end we decided to grab a bite at Burger King. Got there at 2am and they just closed, went to M.U cafe, closed on Monday, tried Chilli's at Sarinah Mall, also just closed. In the end it's OhLaLa again. Head back to Hotel 4am. On the way stopped by police, roadblock, paid some cash and was let go..(5 passengers in a cab was a no no)
