Hen's Nite

A bachelorette party, hen party, hen do, or hen night, is a party held for a woman who is about to be married. The term hen party or hen night is more common in the UK, Ireland, and Australia, while the term bachelorette party is more common in the United States. Attended a Hen Night last night for a colleague. I was in charge of ordering the cake and since was given only a day's notice and relatively new in town, was frantically searching for a bakery that could create the perfect cake. Organizer's instruction was to make up for the no male presence and no available male stripper in the form of a male appendage.

The only bakery i know in Miri is Hot Cross Bun, so off i went in search of the elusive cake. Going through their catalog of cake samples, it was apparent that such a cake would not be included amongst the Ben 10's or Disney Princess decors. I had no choice but to take the sales assistant aside and ask for a more discreet catalog.

Me: errr...amoi, itu cake pelik2 ada kah?? [errr...miss, u have 'special' cakes?]

Amoi: ooooo tunggu ah....( took an album and showed me some boobies cake)...ini macam kah?? [oooo wait ah...like this is it]

Me: errr...gulp...itu laki punya ada kah?? *blushing* [errr...gulp...do u have males one??]

Amoi: ada...ada...lu mauk kah? Bila mauk? [have...have...when do u need it]

Me: err..esok ambik..brapa?? [errr...tommorow...how much]

Amoi: rm80..chocolate truffle...lu pernah tengok kah sini bikin? [rm80...choc truffle...have u seen one made here]

Me: err..tidak..apahal?? [errr...no...why??]

Amoi: macam betul owh...siap ada bulu2...saya pun gelik tengok..[it looks so real..even has 'hairs'...makes me icky]

Me: hahahahahahahahaha oh dear, what have i got myself into....
