I don't really give reviews about restaurants or eateries before but this is our usual wine and dine place so i am obliged to do it. It is owned by the same person who owns The Junk and Bla bla bla.. whereas The Junk is more kinda Westernized menu and Bla bla bla.. orientalized menu. Living Room is more kinda coffee and smoothies place.
The food is fairly priced and most of them are finger licking good. The downside of the western dishes are the side salads. Mostly consists of the same basic things and a tartar sauce. How i miss the simple but elegant Mediterranean salad with a drizzle of lemon juice, olive oil and a pinch of salt and black pepper. You should try the lamb shank or the asparagus prawn.
The ambiance of this place is quite nice and a really nice place to chill. Surrounded by old antiques and Zen deco, you can always be barefoot while eating on a low table. Anyway, i opted for a good table to dine because my legs get numb pretty easily sitting on the wooden floor.
This place needs a wireless internet so that my cousins can update their status on Facebook every 10 minutes! That is a bad idea anyway. Why do you even bother to be on Facebook while dining in a nice restaurant? Sorry Cuzz!
After having Banana Split for desert, i am sure we are going here again in the near future. Two thumbs up!
